Vikings Swim & Dive are St. Clair County Champions!
Girls Varsity SwimmingThe Girls Swim & Dive team realized their goal of winning the St. Clair County Bluewater Classic Championships. Marysville won the Championship meet with 341 points, followed by second place St. Clair, with 314 points. Third and Fourth place went to Marine City and Port Huron United, with 255 and 158 points respectively. Nearly everyone on the team swam at least 1 best time. Highlights are as follows:The 200 Medley relay, consisting of Liv Demorest, Adrienne Kaski, Ella Wilton, and Taylor Caza swam their season best time in that event, finishing in second place to St. Clair.200 yard Freestylers, Becca Jainer and Liv Demorest finished 1st and 2nd respectively with Becca getting her best time, and also best 100 freestyle time by 2 seconds, in the first 100 split of that race. Liv Demorest secured her best time earlier in the week,by3 seconds, against Romeo on Tuesday and finished just 3 tenths shy of another best. In the 200 Ind

Girls Varsity Swimming vs. Warren Woods Tower High School
Girls Varsity SwimmingWe just finished our first scored meet of the season: The Warren Woods Tower Titan Relay meet on Sept 5th. The team finished 3rd overall, out of 9 teams, finishing behind Chippewa Valley and Fraser. Several events were noteworthy:Marysville was able to secure one gold medal during the competition, belonging to diver Paige Sheldon. Paige placed first in the diving event, out of 6 divers. The Marysville 200 yard freestyle rookie relays did extremely well. The 200 freestyle "A Relay", including Adrienne Kaski, Ashlynn Ghekiere, Ava Onyski, and Lara Linzmajer finished second, and the "B Relay" including Annabelle Wood, Evelyn Eppley, Sydney Gray, and Kennedy Goddard finished third, of 8 relay teams. The Marysville rookies also placed second in the 200 yard Medley Relay, with a team consisting of Adrienne Kaski, Ava Onyski, Lara Linzmajer, and Sydney Gray.
