Marysville Athletics Signing Day
Who: Any Marysville athlete who has committed to playing sports at the collegiate level.
What: A special event to honor our student-athletes and celebrate their next steps in continuing their athletic careers at the college level.
When: Monday, May 4th at 7:00 PM
Where: Marysville High School Auditorium
Event Plan:
- Table Displays: Each athlete will have a table set up in the High School Commons to decorate. These tables will be available for photos after the ceremony, and the community is welcome to walk around and view them.
- Opening Statement: The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 PM with an opening statement.
- Athlete Announcements: Each athlete, along with their family, will be announced and invited to come up to the stage where they will sit front and center. The college logo representing their future school will be displayed on the screen behind them.
- Speeches: Each athlete will have the opportunity to speak about their journey and future plans. Athletes may also invite coaches or other individuals to speak on their behalf. The total speaking time for each athlete is limited to 10 minutes.
- Post-Ceremony Reception: Following the ceremony, there will be pizza and drinks available for all attendees to enjoy.
We look forward to celebrating the achievements of our student-athletes and supporting them as they take the next step in their athletic careers!
